The camping site Laasphetal is a quiet little place in the health cure area of Bad Laasphe. The old town is about 10 minutes away by footpath. Our place is surrounded by the woods and mountains of the south east side of the Rothaar-mountains and is about 320 m above sea-level.  
The charming rivulet Laasphe which gave the valley and the town the name flows at its eastern side. You can experience nature with us, watching woodland creatures and birds, or collecting fossils, minerals, berries and mushrooms in the woods. A holiday with us is ideal for hiking, walking or bike riding. There is easy access to the well known Rothaarsteig, a 150 km long walk over the ridges of the ‘red hair’ mountains. Or for the more adventurous why not try the 300 – 700 m  mountain-bike route over the mountains and valleys.
